Koh Samui - Beaches

The Koh Samui beaches are famous world-wide, acknowledged for their incomparable beauty. There are so many beaches the difficulty lies in which one to choose. If you have some time you can try different beaches on different days and you suffer minimal risk of ever getting bored. Leap the sun during the days and enjoy the bustling night life under the glowing moon.

On all of Koh Samui’s bigger beaches a variety of services are offered such as massage, beach bars, hair dressers, water sports and more. All needs are satisfied!

Chaweng

The biggest and liveliest town on Koh Samui is called Chaweng. The beach has the same name and is the very reason for why Chaweng town has become so popular. There are many alternatives for accommodation at Chaweng, as well as a bustling night scene, interesting restaurants and - of course - an absolutely amazing beach strip with plenty of space for everyone. This is the place to go to live the holiday dream!

It’s important to remember - however - that you will not be the only one enjoying everything Chaweng has to offer; many people have understood the beauty of this place.

Lamai

The second largest beach on Koh Samui is Lamai Beach, another tremendously popular resort destination. Lemai is a bit calmer than Chaweng, but we assure you that you will not miss a single thing here. The beach is, of course, spectacular

Bophut

Bophut is a 2 km long, absolutely gorgeous beach strip framed by swaying coconut trees - a perfect place for relaxation. You get access to chic boutiques as well as trendy restaurants and whoever wants to visit the Ang Thong reserve has a perfect starting point in Bophut.

Maenam

For quite some time, Maenam has been regarded the Backpackers paradise of Koh Samui offering great views over Koh Pangan. This is the only beach on the island where you could find some privacy, in general it’s a little cheaper here, and a little simpler. A beach dearly loved by many.

Lipa Noi

Are you a beautiful-sunsets-aficionado you absolutely have to visit Lipa Noi, located by the ferry peer. The waters are very shallow here which also makes it a great place for families traveling with very young children. Apart from the lovely beach area the rest of the place offers tranquil surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the busier beaches - perfect for relaxation.
